Roller furnaces are used when long rods, pipes, billets, blades for earth moving equipment, etc. need to be heat treated.

The heat treatments performed with this furnace are: solution heat-treatments, simple soft annealing and high temperature treatments for forging of stainless steel or nickel-chrome super alloys.

The roller furnaces, often of considerable dimensions and productivity, are primarily gas heated, with self heat recovery burners or with recuperators on the combustion fumes, capable of preheating the comburent air with an increase in energetic performance and energy savings.
